Banking and Finance Lawyer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Banking and Finance Lawyer to join their dynamic practice in Sheffield . This role focuses on advising financial institutions and corporate borrowers on a broad spectrum of financing transactions, including acquisition finance, leveraged finance, real estate finance, and general corporate lending. You will work within a reputable team, handling complex deals and providing strategic advice to clients. Key Responsibilities

• Advise lenders and borrowers on a variety of domestic and international finance transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security documents, and related finance documentation.
• Conduct legal due diligence for financing arrangements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance within the financial services sector.
• Manage transaction processes efficiently, coordinating with clients and other advisors.
• Assist with restructuring and refinancing exercises.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor with at least 4 years' PQE in banking and finance law.
• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex finance documents.
• Solid understanding of various types of lending, security, and intercreditor arrangements.
• Excellent analytical and commercial awareness.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for a hybrid working environment.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines effectively.
