About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Banquet Chef to lead their team responsible for high-volume catering events in Bristol . You will work closely with the Head Chef and Event Managers to ensure all culinary aspects of events are executed flawlessly. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food for large banquets and events, ensuring consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
• Manage kitchen staff during banquet service, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef and event planners on menu development and execution for special functions.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory and ordering for banquet ingredients, controlling costs and minimizing waste.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, well-maintained, and ready for use.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Banquet Chef or in a similar role managing large-scale catering operations.
• Strong culinary skills with expertise in preparing food for large volumes.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
