About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and technically adept BIM Manager to oversee and implement Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies for their architectural projects based in Manchester . You will be responsible for establishing and enforcing BIM standards, workflows, and protocols across the organization, ensuring the effective use of BIM technologies throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of BIM software, collaborative processes, and the ability to train and support project teams. Your expertise will be critical in enhancing design coordination, reducing clashes, improving project efficiency, and delivering higher quality outcomes for our diverse portfolio of projects across the Greater Manchester area.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's BIM strategy, standards, and protocols.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of BIM models, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Provide training and technical support to architectural staff on BIM software and workflows.
- Facilitate clash detection and resolution, coordinating with consultants and contractors.
- Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
Requirements
- Proven experience as a BIM Manager or in a senior BIM coordination role.
- Expert knowledge of Revit and other BIM software, including Navisworks for coordination.
- Strong understanding of PAS 1192 / ISO 19650 standards and workflows.
- Experience in managing BIM projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
