Biostatistician - Clinical Trials

About the Role

Our client, a leader in pharmaceutical research , is seeking a highly analytical Biostatistician to join their dedicated team in Brighton . In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the statistical design of clinical trials, analysis of trial data, and interpretation of results to support drug development. You will work closely with clinical teams, epidemiologists, and data managers to ensure the integrity and validity of research findings. Key Responsibilities

• Design statistically sound clinical trial protocols, including sample size calculations and randomization schemes.
• Develop statistical analysis plans (SAPs) to guide the analysis of clinical trial data.
• Perform statistical analyses of clinical trial data using appropriate software and methodologies.
• Interpret statistical results and contribute to the preparation of clinical study reports, manuscripts, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with clinical operations and data management teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Stay current with advancements in statistical methodologies and their application in pharmaceutical research.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical industry or a contract research organization (CRO).
• Proficiency in statistical software packages such as SAS, R, or SPSS.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design, methodologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ICH, FDA, EMA).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment in Brighton .
