About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Biostatistician to join their innovative research and development team, operating on a hybrid basis with opportunities in Plymouth . You will be responsible for the statistical design of clinical trials, analysis of clinical data, and interpretation of results to support regulatory submissions and scientific publications. This role requires a strong understanding of statistical methodologies and their application in the pharmaceutical context, working collaboratively with clinical teams, data managers, and researchers to ensure the integrity and validity of study findings. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the understanding of our client's investigational therapies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design statistical analysis plans for clinical trials, ensuring alignment with study objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Perform statistical analyses of clinical trial data using SAS, R, or other statistical software.
• Develop and validate statistical programs for data analysis and reporting.
• Interpret statistical results and contribute to the preparation of clinical study reports, manuscripts, and regulatory submission documents.
• Collaborate with clinical operations, data management, and medical affairs teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Stay current with advancements in statistical methodologies and their application in pharmaceutical research.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proficiency in statistical software packages such as SAS, R, or SPSS.
• Solid understanding of clinical trial design, statistical principles, and regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts clearly.
