About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Blockchain Architect to join their growing team in Reading . You will play a pivotal part in defining the technical direction for our Crypto & Blockchain initiatives, evaluating emerging technologies, and ensuring the successful deployment of cutting-edge decentralized systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect comprehensive blockchain solutions, including network topology, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract strategies.
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms, protocols, and technologies to meet specific project requirements.
• Develop technical roadmaps and blueprints for blockchain implementations, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on blockchain best practices and implementation details.
• Oversee the integration of blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems and third-party applications.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices throughout the architecture and development phases.
• Research and stay abreast of the latest advancements in blockchain technology and the wider crypto landscape.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect or Blockchain Architect , with a proven track record in designing and implementing complex blockchain solutions.
• Deep understanding of various blockchain architectures (e.g., public, private, consortium), consensus algorithms, and smart contract development.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain development (e.g., Solidity, Go, Rust, Java).
• Strong knowledge of cryptographic principles , security protocols, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
