Blockchain Architect

About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic Blockchain Architect to design and oversee the implementation of innovative blockchain solutions in Cardiff . You will be responsible for defining the technical vision and roadmap for our blockchain initiatives, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry best practices. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise in distributed ledger technology and a strong understanding of enterprise needs. You will work closely with development teams, product managers, and senior leadership to drive the adoption of blockchain technology, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the Cardiff -based technology hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and document robust, scalable, and secure blockchain architectures.
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms, tools, and technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and prototypes to validate architectural designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective blockchain strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Architect or in a similar senior technical role.
• In-depth knowledge of various blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract development.
• Strong understanding of cryptography, network security, and distributed systems design.
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
