About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect comprehensive blockchain solutions, including network infrastructure, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract frameworks.
• Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Polkadot) and technologies for specific use cases.
• Develop technical roadmaps, standards, and best practices for blockchain development and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of designed blockchain systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging blockchain trends, research, and innovations, and assess their applicability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with a minimum of 5 years focused on blockchain technology and distributed systems.
• In-depth knowledge of various blockchain protocols, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic principles.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade blockchain solutions.
• Strong understanding of smart contract development and security best practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with blockchain technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and influence technical teams in Cambridge .
