Blockchain Developer - Decentralized Finance (DeFi)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement secure and efficient smart contracts for DeFi applications (e.g., lending, borrowing, exchanges).
• Integrate smart contracts with frontend interfaces and backend services.
• Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency for production environments.
• Conduct thorough testing, including unit tests, integration tests, and security audits.
• Research and implement new DeFi protocols and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to bring DeFi products to market.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development, with a significant focus on blockchain development and DeFi .
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with smart contract development frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle).
• Strong understanding of core DeFi concepts, tokenomics, and financial protocols.
• Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
• Experience with Web3 libraries (e.g., Web3.js, Ethers.js) and blockchain explorers.
• Ability to work effectively on-site in Norwich within a team-oriented setting.
