About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Blockchain Engineer to join their fully remote team, contributing to the development of next-generation decentralized applications. Based in Glasgow , you will be instrumental in building and scaling robust blockchain infrastructure that powers innovative solutions in the crypto space . This role offers the unique opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects, collaborate with a distributed team of experts, and influence the technical direction of cutting-edge blockchain technologies, all within a flexible and supportive remote work setup.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and deploy scalable blockchain solutions and decentralized applications (dApps).
Implement and optimize smart contracts using languages such as Solidity.
Contribute to the design and architecture of new blockchain features and protocols.
Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of blockchain networks and systems.
Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the blockchain ecosystem.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in software development with a focus on blockchain technology .
Proficiency in languages like Solidity, JavaScript, or Python, with experience in relevant frameworks.
Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including distributed ledger technology, consensus algorithms, and cryptography .
Experience with popular blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment .
