About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Blockchain Network Engineer to join their innovative team, operating on a hybrid model in Wolverhampton . You will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure for our blockchain networks, ensuring their stability, security, and scalability. This role requires a strong understanding of network protocols, distributed systems, and the unique demands of blockchain technology. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless network performance for our cutting-edge crypto and blockchain projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage the architecture of blockchain networks.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed and efficiency.
• Ensure the security of the blockchain network by implementing robust security measures and protocols.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring high availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and protocols into the network.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a specialization in blockchain or distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP), routing, and firewalls.
• Experience with deploying and managing nodes for various blockchain networks.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices for network security.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
