Blockchain Network Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Blockchain Network Engineer to join their team in Norwich . You will be responsible for the setup, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of blockchain nodes and network infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our blockchain operations, playing a vital role in the infrastructure supporting innovative Crypto & Blockchain applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain blockchain nodes and associated network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for optimization.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the blockchain network through proactive measures and incident response.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, including connectivity and latency problems.
• Collaborate with development teams to support new blockchain protocols and features.

Requirements

• Proven experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on blockchain network administration.
• In-depth knowledge of various blockchain protocols (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum, Layer 2 solutions).
• Experience with network monitoring tools, server administration (Linux/Unix), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Understanding of cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract deployment processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment in Norwich .
