Blockchain Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Blockchain Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of complex blockchain initiatives in Glasgow . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a blend of technical understanding of the blockchain space and exceptional project management skills. You will play a crucial role in guiding the company's blockchain adoption strategy and ensuring seamless integration of new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for blockchain-related projects.
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of project execution, from initiation to deployment.
• Liaise effectively with stakeholders, development teams, and external partners to ensure clear communication.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges that arise.
• Track project progress, provide regular status updates, and manage scope changes.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business objectives in the crypto sector .

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years specifically managing blockchain or cryptocurrency projects .
• Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
