Blockchain Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Blockchain Project Manager to lead and oversee various blockchain initiatives from conception to completion in Portsmouth . You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of blockchain technology and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in this domain. This hybrid role offers a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets for blockchain projects .
• Coordinate and direct the work of project team members, including developers, designers, and testers.
• Manage communication between project stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively seeking solutions.
• Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards and governance frameworks.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in project management within the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.
• Solid understanding of blockchain concepts, including distributed ledgers, smart contracts, and consensus mechanisms.
• Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
