Blockchain Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and driven Blockchain Project Manager to lead their key initiatives from their Portsmouth office. You will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of complex blockchain projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires a strong understanding of the blockchain and crypto landscape, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders effectively. You will act as the central point of contact for project-related activities, facilitating seamless collaboration between technical teams, business units, and external partners. Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Oversee the day-to-day execution of blockchain projects, ensuring progress against milestones.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Monitor project performance and report on status, risks, and successes to relevant parties.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices and company standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) in project management, with a significant portion dedicated to blockchain or cryptocurrency projects.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and DApps.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Experience working with technical teams and translating technical concepts for business stakeholders.
• PMP or Agile certification is a plus.
