Blockchain QA Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Blockchain QA Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, security, and reliability of our client's blockchain-based products and smart contracts. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with developers to resolve issues before deployment. As a fully remote team member, you will leverage your expertise in testing methodologies and blockchain technology to uphold the highest standards of quality within the fast-paced Crypto & Blockchain sector. Your attention to detail will be critical in safeguarding our client's innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for blockchain applications and smart contracts.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using issue-tracking systems.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to understand features and deliver quality feedback.
• Automate testing processes where possible to improve efficiency and coverage.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer, with specific experience in blockchain or smart contract testing.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience in writing test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts, smart contracts, and common vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, suitable for a remote work environment.
