About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant Blockchain Security Analyst to join their fully remote security team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks across our blockchain ecosystem, including smart contracts, decentralized applications, and underlying network infrastructure. You will conduct thorough security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis to protect our assets and user data. This is an excellent opportunity for a security-minded professional to make a significant impact in the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency and Web3 landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive security audits and code reviews of smart contracts and blockchain protocols.
Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on decentralized applications (dApps).
Develop and implement security monitoring tools and strategies for blockchain networks.
Investigate and respond to security incidents, providing detailed analysis and remediation plans.
Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in blockchain security .
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a specialized focus on blockchain security .
Strong understanding of smart contract vulnerabilities and auditing techniques.
Proficiency in analyzing blockchain transactions and network activity.
Experience with security tools and methodologies, including static and dynamic analysis.
Familiarity with cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and various blockchain platforms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical findings clearly and concisely.
