About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Blockchain Security Analyst to join their team in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, UK . In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks associated with blockchain platforms, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. Your expertise will be vital in safeguarding our client's assets and ensuring the integrity of their operations within the competitive Crypto & Blockchain landscape. You will work proactively to protect against threats and maintain the highest standards of security.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments of smart contracts and blockchain protocols.
Monitor blockchain networks for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.
Develop and implement security best practices and policies for blockchain development and operations.
Investigate security incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend remediation steps.
Stay updated on the latest threats and vulnerabilities in the cryptocurrency and blockchain space.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a specific focus on blockchain security .
Strong understanding of blockchain technologies, smart contract vulnerabilities, and common attack vectors.
Experience with security auditing tools and methodologies relevant to smart contracts.
Knowledge of cryptography and secure coding practices.
Familiarity with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or others.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail in assessing risks.
