Blockchain Solutions Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Blockchain Solutions Architect to join their innovative team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This role is critical in defining the technical strategy and architecture for our blockchain initiatives, ensuring that our solutions are robust, scalable, and secure. You will work closely with engineering teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective blockchain frameworks. Key Responsibilities

• Design and document end-to-end blockchain architectures for various business use cases.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate blockchain platforms, protocols, and technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for blockchain solutions.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes to validate architectural designs and explore new technological possibilities.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of all designed blockchain systems.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software architecture , with a significant focus on blockchain technologies .
• Deep understanding of various blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda) and their underlying principles.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure and scalable distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of cryptography, consensus algorithms, and smart contract development.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
