Business Process Improvement Manager (12 Month FTC)
Salary: £80,000 Per Annum
Location: Luton, Head Office
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
What you will be doing:
Lead the review, redesign and continuous improvement of business processes across the organisation to improve efficiency, consistency and service delivery. Reduce manual work, duplicate processes and reliance on spreadsheets by embedding standardised ways of working and maximising use of business systems (particularly Pyramid). Develop and maintain process documentation, SOPs and governance frameworks to ensure clear ownership, version control and compliance. Work with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements, facilitate workshops and implement process improvements that support growth and operational excellence. Drive system adoption by coordinating user testing, training, communications and post-implementation reviews to ensure changes are successfully embedded. Manage and develop a Business Analyst, oversee an improvement backlog, and report progress, risks and benefits to senior leadership. Improve data quality, accountability and process compliance by establishing clear ownership, governance and continuous improvement practices.
Who we are looking for:
Significant experience in business process improvement, operational transformation or organisational change Strong business analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping experience Experience developing SOP, control and document-governance frameworks Experience leading system adoption, optimisation or implementation activity Experience managing people, projects and senior stakeholders Social, supported or wider housing-sector experience (Desirable) Experience of housing management or other business-critical operational systems (Desirable) Lean, Six Sigma, Business Analysis or recognised project/change qualification (Desirable)
Skillset:
Strong facilitation and workshop leadership Clear, accessible writing and rigorous documentation Confident stakeholder management and constructive challenge Analytical thinking, root-cause analysis and practical problem solving Ability to prioritise competing demands and sustain delivery Collaborative approach with respect for technical and operational boundaries
