CAD Design Engineer – SolidWorks

• Northampton | £35,000 per annum | Permanent

• Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm

We're recruiting a CAD Design Engineer for a specialist manufacturer of architectural sheet metal products in Northampton.

You'll be designing components that are manufactured onsite and used in construction projects, including cladding, aluminium profiles, flashings and bespoke metalwork.

What do you need?

• Good working experience with SolidWorks.

• Ability to produce accurate engineering and manufacturing drawings.

• Understanding of sheet metal fabrication, profiles and manufacturing processes.

• Confidence working with dimensions, tolerances and technical specifications.

Experience with AutoCAD 2D and architectural metalwork, cladding or roofing products would be an advantage.
