Our client is seeking an experienced Car Sales Controller to join its busy automotive dealership in Exeter. This Car Sales Controller opportunity is ideal for a commercially focused automotive professional with strong finance and insurance experience.

Basic salary of £30,000. OTE of approximately £70,000, dependent on performance. Five-day working week, Monday to Saturday, with a weekday off. As Car Sales Controller you will manage and maximise finance and insurance sales opportunities. Support customers throughout the vehicle purchasing and transaction process. Present finance and additional products clearly, professionally and compliantly. Monitor and improve individual and departmental KPI performance as the Car Sales Controller. Demonstrate strong commercial awareness across used vehicles and associated products. Work closely with the sales team to deliver an excellent customer experience. Ensure all sales and finance processes are completed accurately and compliantly.Requirements:

Previous experience as a Sales Controller, Business Manager or Transaction Manager, or experience undertaking managerial duties as a Senior Sales Executive. Strong F&I sales experience within the motor trade. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding KPI targets. Commercial awareness across new or used vehicles. Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills as the Car Sales Controller. Stable employment history demonstrating achievement in previous automotive sales roles. The successful Sales Controller must work collaboratively while maintaining a clear focus on performance and customer satisfaction.
