Care & Support Worker - Green Meadow - 25 hours

We're looking for caring, positive people to join our team at Green Meadows for 25 hours per week and help us provide personalised, high quality support to the residents and individuals who use our services. The role also involves physically demanding tasks, including moving and handling, and responding calmly in emergency situations.

Our CQC registered office is in Newport, but your role will take you across the Island, supporting people in their homes and in our schemes, including Freshwater, Ryde and the Bay area.

• The ability to remain calm and professional in emergencies and challenging situations

• A commitment to equality, dignity and anti discriminatory practice

• The physical ability to undertake moving and handling tasks

• Basic IT skills to maintain accurate records and reports

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, sleep in duties and on call rotas

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Qualifications & development:

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English

• Willingness to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent)

• No previous experience is required - full training and support will be provided.

Successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check
