About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and purchase FMCG products and raw materials, ensuring competitive pricing and favorable terms.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, managing performance and conducting regular reviews.
• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify new sourcing opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with category managers and other internal departments to understand product requirements and forecasts.
• Manage inventory levels in conjunction with supply chain to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize costs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Category Buyer or Buyer, preferably within the FMCG industry or a related sector.
• Demonstrated success in negotiation, cost reduction, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, market dynamics, and contract management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
