Category Manager - Indirect Procurement

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust category strategies for indirect spend areas, focusing on cost reduction, risk mitigation, and supplier performance.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including market analysis, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract award.
• Manage key supplier relationships, ensuring performance against contracts and identifying opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders across various departments to understand their needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
• Monitor market trends and identify potential risks and opportunities within your assigned categories.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in indirect procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing.
• Proven track record in negotiating complex contracts and delivering significant cost savings.
• Strong understanding of indirect spend categories and associated market dynamics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
