You will work closely with sales, marketing, and data analytics teams to develop compelling category strategies, assortment plans, and promotional calendars. Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive category plans based on consumer insights, market trends, and sales data for key FMCG categories .
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to translate category plans into effective promotional and activation strategies for retail partners.
- Analyze category performance, identify opportunities and threats, and recommend strategic adjustments to maximize sales and profitability.
- Manage the product assortment and space planning for key categories to optimize shelf presence and consumer engagement.
- Liaise with data analytics teams to ensure accurate reporting and robust insights that inform category strategy, supporting the Bristol region.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in category management, brand planning, or a related commercial role within the FMCG industry .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent understanding of retail dynamics, category management principles, and consumer behaviour.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team structure.
