Here at Halton Housing, we are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to work across our vibrant organisation.

Hours: 18 hours per week Duration: Permanent

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and serve food and beverages, including menu planning and special dietary requirements.

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and health & safety.

• Deliver excellent customer service and support customers' independence.

• Work collaboratively as part of the team and contribute proactively.

• Complete administrative tasks including stock control, banking, income reconciliation, and operational checks.

What You’ll Need:

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate - NVQ Level 1 and/or Basic Food Hygiene Certificate - NVQ Level 2.

• Experience working in a catering environment with knowledge of food handling.

• Flexible approach to working hours and location.

• Ability to follow procedures and instructions.

• Good customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to identify and escalate hazards or issues promptly.
