About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and creative Catering Event Planner to join their dynamic team in Oxford . This role is responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing a wide range of catering events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale functions. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into seamless, memorable culinary experiences. The ideal candidate has a passion for food, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating effectively both from the office and on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand event requirements, preferences, and budget.
• Develop bespoke menus and proposals tailored to client needs and event themes.
• Coordinate all logistical aspects of catering events, including staffing, equipment, and venue liaison.
• Manage event timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and preparations are timely.
• Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring service quality and client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.

Requirements

• Proven experience in event planning , preferably with a focus on catering or hospitality.
• Strong understanding of menu planning, food presentation, and service styles.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing client needs and event conditions.
• Proficiency in event management software and MS Office Suite.
