Catering Operations Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Catering Operations Coordinator to support their busy catering services in Stoke-on-Trent . This role involves coordinating daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, managing resources, and acting as a liaison between clients, the kitchen team, and front-of-house staff. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This position offers a blend of on-site and remote work, providing flexibility while maintaining crucial operational oversight.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering activities, ensuring all events and daily services are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
• Manage event logistics, including staffing, equipment, and dietary requirement coordination.
• Liaise with clients to confirm details, address queries, and ensure satisfaction throughout the planning process.
• Assist in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels for catering operations.
• Work closely with the culinary team to ensure menu execution and food quality meet expectations.
• Support the Catering Manager in daily operational tasks and problem-solving.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality, events, or catering coordination .
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and staff.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work effectively both on-site and remotely as required by the hybrid model.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and supplier relations is a plus.
