About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Catering Operations Coordinator to manage and streamline catering logistics for their distributed teams and clients, with a focus on operations based out of Glasgow . In this fully remote role, you will be responsible for coordinating catering orders, managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery, and troubleshooting any operational issues that may arise. You will be instrumental in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our catering services across various locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate catering orders for meetings, events, and employee needs across multiple locations.
• Manage and maintain relationships with a network of catering vendors and suppliers.
• Ensure all orders are placed accurately, processed efficiently, and delivered on time.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to catering orders, deliveries, or vendor performance.
• Maintain accurate records of catering expenses and manage budgets for various operational needs.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure seamless coordination.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Operations Coordination , Logistics, or a similar role, ideally within the catering or hospitality sector.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Proficiency in using online ordering platforms, communication tools, and standard office software.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with vendor management and negotiation is a plus.
