About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Operations Supervisor to oversee the smooth running of their catering services for events and functions in the Bristol area. You will be responsible for managing on-site teams, ensuring adherence to service standards, handling client needs during events, and maintaining impeccable presentation and hygiene. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead catering teams during event setup, service, and breakdown.
• Ensure all service standards, presentation requirements, and client specifications are met meticulously.
• Manage stock levels of food, beverages, and supplies for events, coordinating with relevant departments.
• Handle client requests and resolve any issues that arise during events promptly and professionally.
• Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in all operational areas.
• Conduct team briefings before events, assigning tasks and ensuring clear communication.
• Assist in training and developing junior catering staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the catering, hospitality, or events industry.
