Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of catering staff during events, ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Manage on-site setup, including equipment, food presentation, and adherence to event layouts.
• Conduct pre-event briefings with staff, clearly outlining roles, responsibilities, and event specifics.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations throughout all catering operations.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables and supplies, reporting needs to the operations manager.
• Liaise with clients and venue staff to ensure satisfaction and address any immediate issues during events.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the catering, hospitality, or events industry.
• Strong understanding of catering operations and event execution.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead a team.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for events in Sunderland .
