Catering Team Leader

About the Role

Our client, a well-established catering business in Nottingham , is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Catering Team Leader to manage and guide their event service teams. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of catering services at various events, ensuring high standards of food and beverage delivery and excellent customer service. You will motivate and support your team, acting as the primary point of contact on-site for clients and ensuring all operational aspects run efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate catering staff during events to ensure exceptional service delivery.
• Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of catering operations at various event venues.
• Ensure all food and beverage is prepared, presented, and served according to company standards and client requirements.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety in all work areas.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients on-site, addressing any immediate needs or concerns.
• Manage stock and resources effectively during events to prevent wastage.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within the catering or hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of event service standards and food and beverage preparation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Awareness of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as required by event schedules.
