Animal care, practical activities and outdoor learning are central to the provision, helping students develop confidence, emotional resilience, independence and positive relationships.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in AP, SEMH or specialist education who can combine effective leadership with a hands-on approach to supporting young people.

Create a safe, structured and nurturing environment for students.
*
Oversee student referrals, inductions, attendance and individual progress.
*
Develop and monitor personalised learning and support programmes.

Support staff with behaviour management, emotional regulation and challenging situations.

Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and compliance procedures are consistently followed.

Monitor student outcomes and identify opportunities to improve the provision.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Previous leadership or management experience within Alternative Provision, SEMH, SEND or a specialist education setting.

Strong understanding of SEMH needs, trauma-informed practice and behaviour support.

Experience managing, mentoring or developing staff teams.

Confident managing safeguarding responsibilities and promoting student welfare.
*
Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

A proactive, resilient and adaptable approach.

Passionate about providing opportunities for young people who may have struggled to engage with mainstream education.
