Charity Administrator and Supporter Care

About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and customer-focused Charity Administrator and Supporter Care professional to join their team in Portsmouth . This role is fundamental to maintaining excellent relationships with donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries, ensuring they receive prompt and helpful support. You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, responding to enquiries, processing donations, and providing a high level of care to all supporters. Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent supporter care , responding to enquiries via phone, email, and in person in a timely and professional manner.
• Process donations, thank you letters, and maintain accurate records in the supporter database.
• Assist with the administration of fundraising campaigns, events, and volunteer activities.
• Manage general office duties, including correspondence, filing, and maintaining supplies.
• Support the coordination of mailings and communication efforts to various stakeholder groups.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information is provided to supporters.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within a charity or similar environment.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with donor databases or CRM systems is a plus.
