About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised and efficient Charity Administrator to provide essential support to their operations in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is fundamental to the smooth running of the organisation, handling a variety of administrative tasks that ensure programs and services are delivered effectively. You will be the first point of contact for many enquiries, manage correspondence, maintain records, and support the wider team with logistical and administrative duties. This is a key opportunity for a meticulous individual with a strong administrative background and a desire to contribute to the success of a charitable cause .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general administrative duties including correspondence, filing, and diary management for the Stoke-on-Trent office.
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing information and directing enquiries appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases, records, and filing systems.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Support event organisation and logistical arrangements as required.
- Manage office supplies and coordinate with external suppliers and service providers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within the charity or non-profit sector .
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
