About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and proactive Charity Administrator to support their operations remotely from Belfast . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation, providing essential administrative and operational support across various departments. You will be responsible for managing correspondence, maintaining records, supporting events, and assisting with the coordination of programmes. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to supporting the vital work of our Northern Ireland -based charity .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, email, and phone communications for the organisation.
- Maintain and update organisational databases and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, including scheduling, minute-taking, and preparing documents.
- Assist with the planning and execution of fundraising events and other organisational activities.
- Process donations, invoices, and other financial documentation accurately.
- Support other team members with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required across Belfast and beyond.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role, preferably within the charity sector.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively manage workload remotely.
- A strong understanding of and commitment to the mission of our client.
