About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Charity Events Coordinator to join their operations in Coventry . This role is crucial for the successful planning and execution of a diverse range of fundraising events, from large-scale sponsored challenges to intimate donor receptions. You will be instrumental in ensuring that every event not only meets its financial objectives but also provides an exceptional experience for all participants, supporters, and stakeholders, thereby enhancing the organisation's profile and impact within the Coventry community and beyond. This is a hands-on role requiring significant on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of fundraising events, ensuring seamless delivery from conception to completion.
• Manage event budgets effectively, tracking expenses and maximizing income generation.
• Liaise with suppliers, venues, and contractors to secure necessary services and resources.
• Develop and implement event marketing and promotional strategies to drive attendance and engagement.
• Recruit, brief, and manage event volunteers, providing clear direction and support on event days.
• Ensure all health, safety, and legal requirements are met for each event.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event management or coordination, preferably within the charity or non-profit sector.
