Charity Events Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and meticulously organized Charity Events Coordinator to manage and execute a diverse portfolio of fundraising events in Coventry . This role is crucial for generating revenue and raising awareness for our mission. You will be responsible for the entire event lifecycle, from initial concept and planning through to execution and post-event analysis. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a passion for creating memorable and impactful experiences that drive donations and supporter engagement within the local community.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of fundraising events, including galas, sponsored walks, and community fairs in and around Coventry .
• Source and manage event venues, suppliers, and contractors, negotiating best value.
• Develop event budgets and manage them effectively to ensure financial targets are met.
• Promote events through various channels, including social media, email, and local press.
• Recruit, train, and manage event volunteers, providing clear direction and support.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure seamless event delivery and maximize fundraising potential.

Requirements

• Previous experience in event planning, preferably within the charity or non-profit sector.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage complex logistics.
• Excellent budgeting and financial management capabilities.
• Creative flair and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.
• Proficiency with event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
