About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Charity Partnerships Manager to join their team in Bristol . You will be responsible for developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and other organizations to secure funding and support for the charity's mission. This role is pivotal in expanding our network and increasing our capacity to deliver essential services. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of corporate social responsibility, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships. This hybrid role allows for collaboration both in the office and through remote engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships with corporate, foundation, and community organizations.
- Develop compelling proposals and pitches tailored to the interests and objectives of potential partners.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
- Oversee the stewardship of existing partners, ensuring ongoing engagement and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to leverage partnerships for maximum fundraising and programmatic impact.
Requirements
- Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or corporate relations, ideally within the charity sector.
- Strong understanding of partnership dynamics and corporate social responsibility.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
- Experience in developing proposals and securing funding or in-kind support.
