Chemical Engineer - Pharmaceutical Development

You will apply your chemical engineering principles to solve complex challenges in a highly regulated environment, working closely with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical processes for the synthesis and purification of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate process parameters, scalability, and robustness.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for process validation, regulatory submissions, and technology transfer.
• Collaborate with analytical chemists and formulation scientists to integrate process development with product requirements.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
• Ensure all activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other relevant regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in process development, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Strong understanding of GMP, validation principles, and regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with process modeling and simulation tools.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
