About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Chemical Engineer to provide essential production support to their manufacturing facility in Nottingham . This role focuses on ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of existing chemical processes. You will be instrumental in troubleshooting operational issues, implementing process improvements, and supporting day-to-day production activities. Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production teams, resolving process-related issues in real-time.
• Monitor process performance metrics and identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost reduction.
• Assist in the implementation of process modifications and upgrades to enhance safety and productivity.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and develop effective corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety , and environmental regulations.
• Update and maintain process documentation, including operating procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• 2-4 years of experience in a process or production engineering role within the chemical industry.
• Solid understanding of chemical engineering principles, unit operations, and process safety.
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a plant environment.
• Good analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with operations staff.
