Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical synthesis routes and process conditions for new and existing products.
• Design and execute experiments at laboratory and pilot plant scales to gather critical process data.
• Analyze experimental results to identify key process variables and establish operating windows.
• Scale-up processes, ensuring safe and efficient transition from bench to pilot plant operations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on process development activities, including safety assessments and economic evaluations.
• Collaborate with research chemists and engineers to ensure seamless technology transfer.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline.
• Experience in process development, scale-up, or pilot plant operations within the chemical industry.
• Proficiency with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques.
• Strong understanding of chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and mass transfer.
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.
• Ability to document findings clearly and effectively.
