About the Role
Our client is seeking a diligent and hands-on Chemical Process Engineer to provide essential support to their manufacturing operations in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire . This role is critical for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day running of chemical production lines. You will be involved in troubleshooting operational issues, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate technical support to manufacturing operations, troubleshooting process deviations and equipment issues.
- Implement process improvements to enhance yield, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Monitor key process parameters and ensure they are maintained within specified limits.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production problems and implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Assist in the validation and commissioning of new equipment and process modifications.
- Ensure all process activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing or process engineering role.
- Practical experience with process troubleshooting and problem-solving in a production environment.
- Familiarity with process control systems and data analysis.
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations within the chemical industry.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operators and technicians.
