About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a dedicated Chemical Process Engineer to become an integral part of their operations in Milton Keynes . This is an on-site position focused on the practical application of chemical engineering principles to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of their manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and improving critical process systems. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a well-established industrial setting, working closely with operational teams and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of chemical process units.
- Monitor process parameters, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process upsets and equipment failures.
- Implement process improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process safety information.
- Support capital projects related to process upgrades and modifications.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemical Engineering .
- 2-4 years of relevant industrial experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of process control systems and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of process safety management (PSM) principles.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an on-site operational team.
