About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Chemical Process Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . This is a hands-on role focused on optimizing existing chemical processes and developing new ones to meet evolving market demands and sustainability goals. You will be a key member of the engineering team, contributing to projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of chemical manufacturing processes.
- Analyze process data to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance yield and reduce waste.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, SOPs, and batch records.
- Ensure all processes comply with stringent health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the operations team, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Requirements
- BEng or MEng in Chemical Engineering .
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a chemical process engineering role.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., COMAH).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to process improvement.
