About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing chemical processes to identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance process yield, reduce energy consumption, and minimise waste.
• Utilize data analysis techniques and process monitoring tools to track performance and identify trends.
• Conduct trials and experiments to test and validate proposed process improvements.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure successful implementation of changes.
• Prepare reports detailing process performance, optimisation results, and recommendations for further action.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on optimisation.
• Proven ability to analyze process data and identify key performance drivers.
• Experience with process control systems and instrumentation.
• Good understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and reaction kinetics.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
