Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive Process Safety Management (PSM) programs and procedures.
• Conduct and facilitate Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) , including HAZOP and LOPA studies.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety violations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with national and international safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Provide expert guidance on process safety design, modifications, and operational procedures.
• Develop and deliver training programs on process safety for employees at all levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience specifically in process safety engineering within the chemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of PSM elements, risk assessment methodologies, and safety engineering principles.
• Experience with consequence modeling and safety software tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead safety initiatives and influence stakeholders remotely.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
