Key Responsibilities

• Conduct original research into new chemical reactions, materials, and synthetic methodologies.
• Design and execute experiments, meticulously documenting methodologies and results.
• Analyze and interpret complex scientific data using advanced analytical techniques.
• Collaborate with chemical engineers and other scientists to translate research findings into potential process applications.
• Contribute to patent applications and scientific publications.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

• PhD or a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering , or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in independent research and development, preferably in organic synthesis or materials science.
• Proficiency in a range of analytical techniques (e.g., NMR, GC-MS, FTIR, DSC).
• Strong theoretical understanding of chemical principles and reaction mechanisms.
• Excellent scientific writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary research team.
