Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, planning, and execution of all mining engineering projects and initiatives.
• Develop and implement innovative engineering solutions to enhance safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on mine design, ventilation, ground control, and material handling.
• Oversee the selection, procurement, and implementation of mining technologies and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards, regulations, and environmental policies.
• Mentor and develop a team of mining engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in mining engineering, with significant leadership roles.
• Extensive knowledge of various mining methods, geotechnical engineering , and mine planning software.
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Strong understanding of remote operational support and virtual collaboration tools.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
